Appearance: Lithe, slender she-cat with a fawn colored pelt, spindly legs and large ears.
Personality: Proud and confident, the aura Dawnrunner gives off makes her out to be a captivating she-cat. All her actions appear to be executed with utmost grace. Both her demeanor and appearance are acicular in nature. She is a dignified cat who is easily offended by an untidy, dirty environment, thus making her out to be quite a neat freak when it comes to her fur or camp altogether. Her fixation on an orderly environment leads her to be excessively territorial. But, the losses she has faced in life have also molded her to become the territorial, falsely confident cat she is now.
However, beneath her rather ostentatious exterior is a hole. She never feels quite satisfied with anything, leading her to often feel restless, giving her boundless energy to pursue her next goal. This restlessness may be related to her special ability, but it is also fed by her desire to be the best.

Family/History: As the only surviving kit from her litter, both her parents spoiled her. Taking after her mother’s power of enhanced speed, her parents fashioned her to be a perfect specimen through rigorous training as an apprentice. Her mother was her own mentor, holding her at an exceedingly high standard which she never let Dawnpaw forget. Dawnpaw turned out to be a spit image of her mother.
One day, Dawnpaw and her father were out on a patrol together when they encountered a pack of coyotes. Dawnpaw was petrified. Her father fought valiently, yet was killed in the fray, driving the coyotes off with his last breath. Dawnpaw blames herself for her father’s death and her mother’s psychological decline. Ever since that incident, she has tried to stifle the overwhelming indecision she often feels.
After her father’s death, her mother became withdrawn and endulged in self-destructive behavior. Dawnpaw was eventually named Dawnrunner and soon after her warrior ceremony, her mothe’s weakened immune system from her engulfing depression lead her to contract greencough and passed away.
To fill the gap in her life her once proud mother and brave father held, she took a mate. She became a falsely confident cat in order to hide the wallowing self doubt she holds for herself, but it served her well since she engaged in active warrior roles: hunting, patrolling, battling, helping, and leading. She used her past adversities to become a seemingly well-rounded cat and be eventually selected as deputy. While her past challenges may have shaped her for the best, she is still burdened by her mistakes.
Eventually, she became pregnant and forfeited her deputy duties for the time being. However, nearing her kitting, her mate had disappeared from the Clan. He was never a truly loyal cat, but Dawnrunner was nonetheless mortified. Three of the four kits in the litter were stillborns, yet one survived and she named him Smokekit after her father (and possibly alluding to her mate up and vanishing like smoke in the wind). She has vowed to ensure Smokekit become a successful warrior like her and her parents before her, without the flaws she held.

Appearance: A lanky, willowy tom with a long tail, large ears, and convex shaped nasal bridge. His rather dopey appearance is complemented by his long legs and thin body frame.
Personality: Despite his mother’s more domineering, confident disposition, he is sullen and moody, most likely due to being spoiled as a kit by his smothering mother. He is a reserved cat who is not concerned with the opinions and feelings of others that he may offend with due to his cantankerous nature. However, beneath this hardened exterior is a nervous, bashful cat who struggles with self-efficacy, similar to his mother. But, unlike his mother, he is less ambitious in trying to find out where he belongs and achieve goals for himself.

Family/History: Born on a calm leaf-bare night, the air in the den was anything but tranquil as he was the only surviving kit in his litter of four. His mother, Dawnrunner, was his only active parents since his father had abandoned the Clan a couple moons before his birth. Dawnrunner has smothered him ever since his birth, trying to ensure he blooms into a successful cat like herself. However, it was apparent that Smokekit did not have the grace and speed of his mother from early on, which disheartened Dawnrunner. This dissapointment in her awkward, feeble son was a difficult feeling to hide, yet she grew even more determined to bend him into a fine warrior. Her dreams of making him deputy once she became leader were of the utmost importance to her.
Smokepaw was apprenticed without having developed his power yet. As each day passes, both Dawnrunner and Smokepaw worry that he may be without powers, thus devastating his mother’s dreams and quelling whatever shred of self esteem Smokepaw May have.
