| Welcome to my photo gallery. Some of these photos are old high school photography assignments, some are from my trips overseas, and still others are just photos I've taken for fun or because I wanted to capture certain moments. I'll do my best to organize them into some semblance of order for you. Enjoy! Animals- The barn cat, Heart:
- My horse, Achilles. This was a color emphasis photo assignment, and was edited for...color emphasis - he's not really that red:
- My other cat, Ryuu. This was another photography assignment:
- Ryuu again. A color emphasis/rule of thirds assignment:
- My dog, Andy:
- A picture of a foal I took when I went riding at a ranch in Oregon:
- A color emphasis assignment (again, the color is enhanced for emphasis):
- Achilles just before he lost his winter coat. This is his real coat color:
- Ryuu beneath the Christmas tree! Not the best photo because the lighting sucked, but still incredibly cute:
Miscellaneous- A black and white photo of Achilles' hackamore. The braid on the right is made out of some of his tail that I had to trim:
- The water faucet out back - edited to enhance color:
- They're...just weeds. Literally:
- Somewhere in Texas - taken with my phone:
- A rose - edited to enhance color because...color emphasis assignment:
- A snowscape photo taken when we went to cut down our Christmas tree last year:
- A photo of lightning taken in a freak thunder storm at our house. I took several hundred photos that night, and this is the only one I caught of an actual lightning strike:
- The shadow of a peacock feather, taken for a photography assignment:
- Peach tree blossoms in the spring...kind of a dark-lit, 'meh' photo:
- Another color emphasis assignment...we did a lot of color emphasis:
- Sunset at my house:
- A close-up of a dewy spider web:
- My barn. The odd lighting makes it look kind of like a painting:
- Silhouette of a surfer at a beach in San Diego - edited to enhance color:
Photos from my trip to Europe- A courtyard in...I think it was St. Paul de Vence:
- Flowers in the window. St. Paul de Vence again:
- A photo of the coast. Not sure where it was taken. Maybe Italy:
- A view from the top of Mt. Pilatus in Switzerland:
- View from Mt. Pilatus again:
- A mountain...again:
- A cathedral in...I think it was Como, Italy - don't quote me on that:
- The Milan Cathedral, which is literally so big you can't fit it all in one photo...sorry, I tried:
- A very cute puppy that we saw in Cinque Terre (can't remember which village, haha):
- Buildings in one of the Cinque Terre villages:
- A clock tower in yet another of the Cinque Terre villages...still can't remember which one...:
- A jellyfish in the same village as the clock tower...gloop, gloop:
- A seagull that tried to steal all our food in Monaco...:
- A port in Monaco:
- Some old aqueducts:
- A view from the other side of the aqueducts:
- The outside of the Arena in Nîmes, France :
- One of the architect Antoni Gaudí's 'candy houses' in Park Güell and a partial view of Barcelona:
Photos from my trip to the U.K.- A train station in England:
- A city street:
- The Parliament building and the Thames River:
- A view of the Thames, Parliament building, and Big Ben at night from the London Eye:
- Ruins in a forest in Scotland:
- A garden at a castle in Scotland:
- Rolling fields in Scotland:
- Sheep in Ireland...baaaa:
- More rolling fields - in Ireland this time:
- Horses at a river along the Ring of Kerry:
- Pretty view along the Ring of Kerry:
- Architecture:
Okay, that's all for now! I know, it's a ton of photos, isn't it? Well, you should have seen how many are on my hard drive! I chose some of my favorites to post. Well, go ahead and tell me what you think or leave advice. I'd love to hear your thoughts on these photos.

| Oh gosh, no need to sob over it, Kemi, haha! And thanks, everyone, for the compliments! Photography is something I really enjoy, and something I have a natural talent for. I took it for two years in high school and learned so many things. I wish I could do it for a career sometimes, but the industry is incredibly hard to break into :/ Of course, the photo quality is also due to the fact that I have a really good camera. By the way, if you're interested, I use a Canon Rebel XT for most of my photos. A few of these were taken on my phone, but not many. |

| Oh wow! I took photography in high school for a year, but I wasn't all that great. I am so jealous you have a Canon Rebel. I have been wanting one since I took my photography class. |

| Thanks for the compliments! I actually got really lucky to get my Canon. My brother was on the yearbook crew for a couple years and got the Canon so he could get good-quality pictures, especially of the sports teams. When I got into high school and started photography, he wasn't doing yearbook anymore, so he gave the camera to me. One of the best gifts ever! It really makes a world of difference, and my teacher had pretty much the exact same camera, so she was able to teach me tons of things about it. |
