I started this roleplay on another rpg site but it died off :C
Hopefully here it will thrive! If not, I'm still bursting with plot ideas and prompts for more roleplays!

So...... theres this creepily cool place called Hellingly Hospital in the UK. I stumbled across it on Pinterest, of course, and I thought it would be the perfect setting for some creepy supernatural roleplay.

Some background info: the "hospital" was not in fact a hospital. It was an insane asylum. Strangely, though... it was abandoned, and now is in ruins. Also, it was a very complexly designed place, which is random information but kinda cool.

Plot: Modern time, teenage characters
Our characters stumble across this place somehow, maybe at a summer camp? On a hike or something. From there, they (of course) try to explore, and maybe open up a portal to a demon world or converse with spirits. All of our human characters should know other people's human characters, as they would have been in the same camp for a while.

Name: Chase Smith
Human or Spirit: Human
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Short personality desc: Chase is a sweet guy, if not a bit unconscious about his surroundings and what other people think about him. He often does things to his own liking and his own rhythm, rarely slowing down or stopping for anybody. Despite his surface good-natured antics, Chase is quite clever and stops at nothing to achieve his goals, often times absentminded to the destruction he is causing in his wake.
Appearance: Wavy dark-brown hair with a characteristic swoop at the top, bright green eyes, a soft jawline and pale skin. He is about 5'9"
Backstory: Chase lost his parents when he was three because of a house fire. He was adopted quickly but was separated from his siblings. He doesn't remember much about his parents or his siblings, but he grew up knowing that he was adopted. Chase was an only child in his adoptive family and because of his past, he grew up with the philosophy cemented that he would do whatever he wanted, no matter what. Because of this, he was always the loner and never had many friends,
although he never really cared because his family moved a lot due to his mother's job and he never liked saying goodbye to close friends whenever he did.
Other: Bisexual, will probably die for his dog.

Gender: Female
Short personality desc: Quinn is very outgoing and talkative and will talk you're ear off if she get's the chance. She can babble on for hours about just about any subject! She is very passionate and cares a lot about other people.
Sometimes she doesn't take enough care of herself but takes her sadness and stress out in an artistic way. She loves to draw and make art of any medium.
Quinn can be very kind but is not the most patient. She hates little kids but can tolerate most immature teens. She is quick-witted and can win most arguments, as she looks at the details.
Catchphrase: "Anything you say can and will be used against you!"
Appearance: I do not like using pictures, so here is a description.
Quinn is medium build and quite skinny for being so short, 5'2.
She has a very pale skin tone but it contrasts with her white dyed hair slightly. She also has darker highlights in her hair. She has hazel eyes and a weird star-shaped birthmark on her left cheek under her ear. She does not like it to show and usually parts her hair so it covers it.
A normal outfit would include: long-sleeved crop top, jeans and white slip on shoes.  She is never seen without her fake diamond cat ear headband.
Backstory: Quinn is pretty much a normal girl with four siblings and a cat at home. She is very independent from them most of the time.
Other: cats cats cats cats cats cats meow (Also she is also allergic to bees thank you)
