Websoup Chatting

Most of you already know this, but us Websoup members have either moved or

are in the process of moving over to Discord. I will not be using Skype anymore

that's the case with many of you -- so you may uninstall Skype if you'd like.

As for the next question in this "chatting renovation:" shall we continue to use the

Websoup Discord chat for off-site chatting like we have been doing? Or shall we

disable chatting in the group, and enable it during game/movie nights? (To do this,

Kobi and I would simply disable the use of chatting in the group, and enable it during these events.)

Hmm. I feel as if we should try and get the chatbox to its former glory. Disabling discord could help with keeping things on the forum (on topic or not), as well as make sure people stay active on the site. A lot of us (myself included) have been drifting to Skype or Discord to talk to everyone and not checking on Websoup to see what the daily scoop is.

Just my opinion. I vote for disabling the chat until game nights.

I think I agree with Lex, it could have an added bonus effect on activity if we're all jumping on here to talk instead of onto Discord. Would you guys make an exception with rp chats so that rp stuff isn't filling up the chatbox? Or it might not be that big a deal. Eh, either way, I like the idea of using the chatbox except on game night. And if things aren't ging the way we like, we can always enable Discord again.
